Leveldesign is the creation of maps (also defined as environments or game levels). I work primarily within the quake 3 engine however am expanding into newer engies at the same time souch as Source (Half Life 2) and Lawmaker. 3d work is primarily done in engine specific level editing programs such as GtkRadiant, but I also create prefabs for implimentation in XSI mod tool and 3dStudio. Available are screenshots of upcoming material for games and mods I work with. Also available is some tutorials for creating maps yourself; these tutorials are still a work in progress. Tennrell Station - Status : on hold

I like to think of this map as more of a art project. Its sole perpous seems to be to just be visualy unique. For this map I created a specific set of textures and shaders; this texture set will most likely will be applied into another project instead of completeing this one. For the time being however, it is worth putting up as a work in progress.

Imperial Communications Tower - Status : In Beta

This project was originaly started for the MovieBattles II community map project and was later transformed into a offical MB map when I joined the team. Over the past few months it has undergone many changes to reach its current state. The map is a objective based assault. The map is complete and undergoing beta testing and fixing and will be released as part of MovieBattles Build 19.'

Cloud CIty - Status : working 50%

This project has been in the works ever since I joined the MB team. ITs currently partialy complete, but the layout keeps being reworked. Due to the high standards that must be met with this map ,its a ongoing challage of balancing attention to gameplay, size and room for the players, as well as visuals and movie accuracy. However, after the release of Build 19 this project is the first priority.

The Great Temple of Yavin 4 - Status : working 25%

This project is a large RPG style map designed for a RPG mod being developed for Jedi Academy named The Academy Domain. This map has been difficult because it is massive and has been in progress for a year. Because of this, many areas need to be reworked so that they are up to par with all other areas of the map. An estimated completion time of this map cannot be given right now, but it will be released in small betas when enough areas are complete. The map already features use of custom entitys that were implimented by the Academy Domain mod. One of these features is usable panels that can only be used by admins of specified ranks on a given server.

This project was created in 2005 for a leveldesign contest at Map-Review.com and won first place. The theme for the contest was complex geometry (vs visual detail via textures). The constraints were the level had to fit inside a 1024x1024x2048 box (which is pretty small) and could only have 10 physical textures used. Due to its size the map fits its perpous well but isn't very virsatle due to the constrictions of the contest.
